Hamas who control the Gaza strip are opposing Mahmoud Abbas's bid for Palestinian statehood at the UN.<br /><br />But many people in the besieged strip are supporting the move by the PLO, also knowing the US will block the bid in the Security Council.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Nicole Johnston reports from Gaza.
