British surgeons have successfully separated 11-month-old baby girls from Sudan who were born joined at the head.<br /><br />When one of the twin's heart began to fail, their parents contacted the charity 'Facing the world' and they were flown to Britain to try and save them.<br /><br />It took four operations at London's Great Ormond Street Hospital to separate the twins.<br /><br />Weeks after their surgery, doctors are amazed that they are sitting up and smiling.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Charlie Angela reports from London.
