The Mabira rainforest in Uganda has been protected since 1932 - but now the Government has revived a plan to give away nearly one-quarter of it to grow sugar cane.<br /><br />Environmentalists say the government is killing the future of the country's forests, while officials say they are only clearing damaged and unsustainable areas.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Malcolm Webb reports from Kampala.
