More than 40-thousand Syrians have crossed into Turkey. <br /> <br />A steady stream of refugees cross into Turkey from Syria.<br /><br />The border is important as a route for to evacuate the injured and as a supply line for food and medicine.<br /><br />However, even fighters cross into Turkey, not for shelter, but to collect supplies.<br /><br />The Turkish military keep a close watch on the border, but they are turning a blind eye on what is going on.<br /><br />For the Syrian free army footpaths through a forest are a lifeline.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Andrew Simmons reports from Antakya, on the Syrian Turkish border.
