Peshawar city and province in northwest Pakistan has seen a high number of attacks since the killing of Osama bin Laden.<br /><br />Recently, soldiers killed three Taliban fighters after an attack on a checkpoint.<br /><br />The province's police chief says despite the heavy casualties suffered by his force, his men are determined to continue the fight. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Kamal Hyder reports from Peshawar.
