The Palestinian leadership is making its application to UN for membership status its top priority when the General Assembly convenes in September.<br /><br />In Ramallah, however, people are "cautiously" hopefull of the bid. <br /><br />Most people are aware of the US intent to veto Palestine's full-membership bid. <br /><br />Others feel that the bid will be not change the lives if Palestinians and may even make their lives more difficult. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Tom Ackerman reports from Ramallah.
