Matar Matar, a former opposition legislator with the Shia party al-Wefaq, spoke to Al Jazeera in an exclusive telephone interview, about a statement by the Bahrain government that 20 sentenced Bahraini medics will be retried.<br /><br />He said the Bahrain medics will not be a retried but rather, will only have their "appeal" heard.<br /><br />He said it was important to note that this was requested by the "general prosecutor". <br /><br />Matar said it is a positive move for the medics but that they should not stop any bit of litigation.
