The US state of New York is considering whether to go ahead with a controversial form of gas drilling.<br /><br />Activists want to keep a moratorium in place on hydraulic fracturing - also known as Hydraulic fracturing or "fracking."<br /><br />Supporters say it will be good for the economy - but opponents say the practice puts the environment at risk.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Kristen Saloomey reports from New York's Otsego County.
