Egyptians went to the polls for day one of the second round of parliamentary elections on Wednesday.<br /><br />Large numbers of voters turned up in nine provinces, but across the country, numbers were lower than in the previous round. <br /><br />In Suez, one of the smallest of Egypt's 27 provinces, the population is generally socially conservative and Islamist parties have gained the most grassroots support.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Sherine Tadros reports from Suez.
