Months after Libya was liberated from the forces of former leader Muammar Gaddafi, the country has still to cobble together a national army.<br /><br />The armed groups or so-called brigades still dot the streets of Libya as the country's defence minister has a tough task in appointing a chief of the army - the first step in uniting the brigades and creating an army.<br /><br />Residents want these patrolling men off the streets as they have been involved in many deadly street battles in the past weeks.<br /><br />Imran Khan reports from the capital, Tripoli.
