Researchers at IBM have created the world's smallest magnetic digital-storage device, using just 12 atoms to hold a single data bit of information.<br />The discovery could lead to a new class of memory chips that would make smaller, more energy efficient computers.<br />Al Jazeera's Tarek Bazley reports.
