The long running conflict between rival tribes in South Sudan is escalating.<br /><br />A youth armed group from the Murle tribe attacked the Lou Nuer tribe in Duk Padyet in Jonglei state late on Monday. <br /><br />Forty-seven people have been killed, most of which were young children, women and old people, said Philip Thon Leek Deng, a local leader and member of parliament. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Joelle Naayem reports.
