Brazil's annual five-day carnival in Rio De Janeiro has been officially launched under a shower of confetti and pulsating samba beats.<br /><br />Sao Paulo, Brazil's economic capital and Latin America's most populous city, has also launched its own carnival celebrations on Friday.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo reports from Sao Paulo.
