As concerns grow that Israel may be moving towards an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, the Obama administration finds itself under pressure not just from Israel, but US politicians.<br /><br />A group of Senators, mostly Republicans, is calling for Barack Obama, the US President, to take a firmer, and more public stance over the nuclear dispute with Iran.<br /><br />More than a third of the US senate are sponsoring a non-binding resolution that lists all the reasons Iran is a threat.<br /><br />They warn that time is running out and urge the President to reaffirm that the US position is to "prevent the Iranian government from acquiring nuclear weapons capability.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Patty Culhane reports from Washington DC.
