Peruvian authorities raided a building in downtown Lima and seized 2.3 million U.S. dollars in counterfeit 50 dollar bills.<br/> <br />Police chief said the notorious Quispe Rodriguez family gang is behind it.<br/> <br />He also added that authorities have been following the same gang for some time.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) POLICE CHIEF, SEGUNDO PORTOCARRERO, SAYING:<br/> <br />"Last year, we seized approximately 5 million dollars and 2 million euros from this same gang.
