(ROUGH CUT -- NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />Rescue helicopters plucked to safety 25 residents in a typhoon-hit northeastern Chinese city on Saturday, as the death toll in China from the two typhoons rose to six.<br/> <br />In the northeastern Liaoning Province - one of the seven provinces affected by typhoons Damrey and Saola - state television showed two rescue helicopter crews plucking to safety stranded residents in Liaoyang city, where floodwaters reached at least half a floor's height.<br/> <br />About 1.46 million people in Liaoning Province were affected, the official Xinhua News Agency reported on Sunday (August 5).<br/> <br />It added that nation-wide another two people were reported missing.
