Salahuddin neighborhood in the centre of Aleppo is the front line in the battle for Syria's largest city.<br /><br />Rebel fighters say they have managed to fend off wave after wave of attacks by Bashar al-Assad's army which has been trying to enter the area for more than a week now.<br /><br />And as government forces continue to pound Aleppo, the Free Syrian Army is bringing in more and more reinforcements.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Jamal Elshayyal reports.
