The site of deadly bombing in the Afghan capital Kabul.<br/> <br />At least nine civilians were killed and three others were wounded on Tuesday when a roadside bomb hit a minibus, according to a police official.<br/> <br />The driver of the bus, who survived the blast, said the remote controlled bomb was detonated as the bus crossed a bridge.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Dari) DRIVER OF MINI-BUS, MOHAMMAD NASIM, SAYING:<br/> <br />"A controlled bomb which was placed under the bridge exploded and hit my bus. I saw the man who planted the bomb arrested by people before he ran away from the scene."<br/> <br />Roadside bombs are by far the deadliest weapon deployed by Taliban insurgents in the war against NATO and the government of President Hamid Karzai.<br/> <br />But civilians bear the brunt of the violence.
