The flames from a massive fire at this refinery outside of San Francisco are under control ---according to Chevron officials. The facility erupted in flames late on Monday sending a column of thick dark in the air. Firefighters worked for hours to extinguish the blaze<br/> <br />Officials are breathing easy having narrowly avoided a lengthy disruption which could have a serious impact on the west coast's fuel supply.<br/> <br />About 100,000 people were ordered to remain indoors to and local bus and rail lines were closed. At least 200 people are being treated for respiratory problems.
