Rebels try to retake lost ground in Aleppo.<br/> <br />Amateur video out of Syria which could not be independently verified by Reuters appears to show rebels launching a counter offensive in Syria's largest city.<br/> <br />The Syrian government is trying to crush a rebellion launched last March. The UN has said there will be no winner in Syria.<br/> <br />Aleppo has been pounded from the air, and assaulted on the ground. But there are no signs yet of an infantry advance that would be required for President Bashar-al Assad to take full control of the city.
