The US Justice Department says it will not prosecute Goldman Sachs over alleged financial fraud. <br /><br />Investigators say their decision was based on a lack of evidence. <br /> <br />Last year, a Congressional panel found the firm had advised clients to invest in risky mortage securities, while at the same time betting against those investments. <br /> <br />The committee suggested Goldman Sachs was one of the firms behind the global financial crisis in 2008.
