Syrian refugees continue to pour into Turkey.<br/> <br />More than 50,000 are already on the ground -- all fleeing the violence at home.<br/> <br />Other Syrians have turned to Jordan.<br/> <br />On Saturday Canadian Foreign affairs Minister John Baird pledged more aid for the Syrians.<br/> <br />. (SOUNDBITE) (English) CANADIAN MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, JOHN BAIRD, SAYING:<br/> <br />"Canada will provide an additional 1.5 million dollars for the World Food Program."<br/> <br />While assistance is welcome -- some refugees are looking for more than a helping hand from the west<br/> <br />As U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in Turkey some refugees says they need more arms than butter<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) SYRIAN REFUGEE AHMED ABDULRAHIM SAYING:<br/> <br />"We expect all kind of help from Europe and other countries. We expect weapons. How can we fight without weapons?"<br/> <br />On Saturday Clinton said that Washington and Ankara should develop an operational plan to assist the rebels.<br/> <br />She did not rule out imposing a no-fly zone over rebel-held territory in Syria.
