Mohamed Morsi, Egypt's president, has granted himself sweeping new powers in his latest challenge to the military.<br /><br />Morsi cancelled military council's constitutional declaration which curbed presidential power.<br /><br />He has also dismissed top army, navy and airforce generals, including the head of the Armed Forces, Field Marshall Mohammad Tantawi.
