What's real and what's illusion? Should I trust my memories?<br/> <br />Those are some of the questions Colin Farrell seeks to answer in the retooled version of the 1990 sci-fi classic "Total Recall."<br/> <br />Farrell says when he was first approached to star in the new film he wasn't sure if it should be remade.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Colin Farrell, actor, saying (English):<br/> <br />"I was skeptical at first and then I read the script and the script felt different enough, it felt like there was a very clear tonal shift between both films and so I thought the film could be shot without one feeling like that was a repetition, I thought it felt like an original piece of work."<br/> <br />"Total Recall" is an action thriller about reality and memory - which first starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone.<br/> <br />This time around Farrell is in the lead and is joined by Kate Beckinsale, who plays his wife and Jessica Biel, who suits up as a rebel fighter.<br/> <br />Biel said director Len Wiseman made more than just a remake.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Jessica Biel, actress, saying (English):<br/> <br />"His visuals very really exciting and his characters were really strong and developed and I think those are the reasons why (taking part in the film)."<br/> <br />The film opens in cinemas on August 23.
