Kashmir's economy shattered by conflict

In 2010 violent protests violence erupted across Kashmir as people protested against the Indian rule.<br /><br />For weeks, a state of curfew was imposed bringing down productivity and people's morale.<br /><br />While normalcy has returned back to the state, there are other problems facing people here.<br /><br />No new jobs have been created and no new industries are being set up. Because of this, over 600,000 people are looking for work.<br /><br />Prerna Suri reports from Srinagar in Indian administered Kashmir, where the economy has been suffering because of years of conflict.
