Ecuador officials are expected to make a decision later Thursday on whether WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange can seek asylum in their country.<br/> <br />Assange has been staying at the Ecuador embassy in London for the past two months in order to avoid extradition to Sweden.<br/> <br />Officials there want to question him on sex crime allegations.<br/> <br />The circumstances surrounding the extradition were ramped up earlier in this week when British authorities threatened to raid the Ecuador embassy to remove Assange.<br/> <br />The Ecuadorean government said such actions would be considered hostile and a violation of their sovereignty.
