This bit of news is from Mosaic: <br />December 13 2006 <br /><br />UN to Approve International Tribunal <br />Al Arabiya TV, UAE <br /><br />It seems that the UN Security council will reconsider the issue of forming an International Tribunal to bring to trial those responsible for the assasination of the former Prime Minister, Rafik Hariri. <br /><br />(Lahoud rejected the International Tribunal) <br /><br />According to diplomatic sources, the failure to form the International tribunal the UN Security council ended when Russia reached an agreement with other members of the council on the resolution in accordance to Chapter 7. <br />"....The Agreement reached between RUSSIA & other UN Security council members INCLUDED A CONDITION: that ALL PRESIDENTS be given IMMUNITY FROM THE INVESTIGATIONS & COURT PROCEDURES." <br />The council members also guaranteed RUSSIA that this tribunal will not set a precident that can be used against it in the future. What is Lahoud and Hezbollah afraid of?? <br /><br />AND WHY is Russia doing this? Even China was fine with this.. WHY is RUSSIA REALLY doing this? <br /><br />This is all very very suspicious. <br /><br />It's not like the 70's , 80's or early 90's.. the world is a smaller place because of the Internet that many around the world have access to-- not much can "hide" from others around the world anymore.
