Turkey has expelled Israel's ambassador and cut military ties after failing to get an apology over last year's Gaza flotilla raid. <br /><br />The announcement came ahead of the publication of a United Nations report into the attack. <br /><br />An early copy seen by Al Jazeera reproaches Israel for using excessive force - but also criticises some of those onboard for violent resistance. <br /><br />Israel has yet to officially respond to the findings, however, Hamas, the movement which controls Gaza, has. <br /><br />Ahmed Youssef, a high-ranking Hamas official, told Al Jazeera that he rejected the finding that Israel's blockade on the territory was lawful.
