Authorities in the eastern Indian state of Bihar have ordered an investigation into the killing of a senior political figure. <br /><br />The incident's triggered a violent reaction in the state.<br /><br />Brahm-eshwar Singh was the head of the Ranvir Sena, a militia which targeted Hindus from the lowest caste.<br /><br />He is believed to have been involved in the murder of more than 300 people.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Sohail Rahman reports from New Delhi.
