Buddhists have been fighting the minority Rohingya people in Myanmar's western Rakhine state for the past two weeks.<br /> <br />Throughout five other states in the country, there are rebel armies, all fighting against the central government. <br /> <br />Many want to form independent states and some of them are said to use the drug trade for funding. <br /><br />In Kachin State, the government's fragile peace with the Kachin Independence Army has collapsed. <br /><br />Myanmar's army launched an offensive in June, which so far has forced about 60.000 people from their homes. <br /> <br />Al Jazeera's Wayne Hay has this exclusive report.
