Conflict in Somalia has left a lasting impact on its people. The World Health Organisation says one out of every three Somalis suffer from mental illness.<br /><br />With an upcoming election, the Somali people hope to finally move beyond the scars - physical, mental and socio-political - left by the nation's long-standing conflict.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Nazanine Moshiri reports from Mogadishu.
