Typhoon Kai Tak leaves a trail of destruction after battering southern China over the last two days.<br/> <br />The typhoon made landfall in the southern Guangdong province on Friday.<br/> <br />Authorities there had evacuated nearly 19000 residents and called more than 51,000 fishing boats back to shore.<br/> <br />Kai Tak is the fourth typhoon to hit China since early August.<br/> <br />The storms have affected millions, left 51 dead and 21 missing, state media said.
