Yemen holds a military funeral for 14 security officials killed in an insurgent attack over the weekend.<br/> <br />The 14 died when suspected al Qaeda-linked militants assaulted an intelligence building using grenades, automatic weapons and a car bomb.<br/> <br />During the funeral - held in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa - military officials vowed to find the attackers.<br/> <br />"These events will never deter us from putting these criminals on trial, criminals who have no other aim than the killing of civilians," says army chief Ahmed Ali al-Ashwal.<br/> <br />The brazen assault happened here - at an intelligence building in the port city of Aden.<br/> <br />It is the latest in a string of militant attacks targeting Yemen's security forces.<br/> <br />The violence comes as Yemen - with the backing of the US - attempts to squelch an uprising by the Partisans of Islamic law - an al Qaeda offshoot.
