The six directors of a private hospital in the eastern Indian city of Kolkata have appeared in court charged with culpable homicide, after a fire broke out that killed 90 people on Friday. <br /><br />Authorities say hospital managers failed to observe the correct safety procedures, forcing members of the local community to help rescue patients from the fire.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Sohail Rahman reports from Kolkata.
