US drones are piloted by operators thousands of miles away its targets leading some to question the ethics behind using a weapon where the person pulling the trigger, spots their target on a video screen -- and is not on the battlefield.<br /><br />The use of the unmanned aircrafts has dramatically increased under the Obama administration - a practice criticised by many nations including Pakistan and Afghanistan - particularly so for the deaths of many civilians.<br /><br />And while the CIA and the White House contend that intelligence operations are monitored, its details are usually kept secret questioning the legality, transparency and accountability of US officials.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler reports from New York.
