Conservative justices who hold a majority on the US Supreme Court appeared ready to endorse a controversial law on immigration in the state of Arizona.<br /><br />The new law would expand the powers of local police to arrest illegal immigrants in the state. The government is challenging the law, however, saying it encroaches on federal authority. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rob Reynolds reports from Tuscon.
