As Syrian authorities continue to crack down on anti-government protests, many of those injured by security forces are fleeing to neighbouring Jordan to seek medical help.<br /><br />They say it is far too dangerous for them to be treated in hospitals in their home country.<br /><br />Amnesty International, the London-based rights group, recently issued a report accusing the Syrian government of allowing the security forces to target and torture injured people inside the country's public hospitals.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Nisreen el Shamayleh reports from Amman in neighbouring Jordan.
