The war crimes trial of Liberia's former President Charles Taylor is drawing to a close, which is being held at a UN-backed court in The Hague holds the ex-Liberian leader on 11 charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.<br /><br />Ahead of the verdict Al Jazeera's Hasan Patel spoke to Al Jazeera's Yvonne Ndege on the implications of the case and what it means for Sierra Leone.<br /><br />This is the first time Al Jazeera used Google+ hangouts for a live broadcast using the on-air feature.
