7000 jailed by Egypt junta ups post-Mubarak scepticism

Around seven thousand people have been arrested under Egypt's military rulers since the country's revolution in February. The junta has promised to review military trials of civilians, and says it will increase the powers of the civil courts. However, human rights watchdogs are sceptical, saying not much has changed since President Mubarak stepped down.
