Thousands of atheists, secularists and humanists have turned out in the US capital to celebrate their rejection of the idea of God and to claim a bigger place in public life.<br /><br />Protesters in the "Reason Rally" on Saturday demonstrated against what they saw as the imposition of religion in American life and politics.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's John Terrett reports from Washington.
