Thunderstorms in the US Midwest are hampering recovery efforts after the deadliest single tornado in more than 60 years.<br /><br />The deadly tornado has cut a swathe of devastation right through the town of fifty thousand people, killing 116 people and injuring more than 500.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's John Terrett reports from Joplin, Missouri.
