A court in Bangladesh is set to hear evidence of war crimes committed during the conflict that led to the creation of the country in 1971.<br /><br />About three million people were killed during that war, which lasted nine months. <br /><br />It is the first time in the countries short history that evidence of war crimes will be brought before a judge, but there are accusations that the government is using the trials to round up the opposition.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Nicolas Haque reports from the capital Dhaka.
