The latest demonstrations across Syria have been met once again, with violence by the country's security forces.<br /><br />Activists say that an updated figure of at least 20 people were killed on Friday.<br /><br />Chanting "Death rather than Humiliation", hundreds of protesters came took to the streets in in the eastern city of Deir Ezzor.<br /><br />Some people demanded the execution of their leader, President Bashar al-Assad, even calling him a traitor.<br /><br />International media including Al Jazeera are banned from Syria.
