US politicians seem unable to agree on how to kickstart the economy and deal with the country's persistently high unemployment rate.<br /><br />It has been above nine per cent for 26 of the last 28 months, and is at 16.7 per cent for African-Americans.<br /><br />In some parts of the US, it is even higher.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Andy Gallacher travelled to the town of Camden, Alabama, which has one the highest rates in the country.
