The violence began in Tottenham in the north of the city on Saturday night - after 29-year-old Mark Duggan was shot dead by police.<br /><br />But three nights on the trouble has spread across the London capital.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Barnaby Phillips, reporting from Stoke Newington, North London, said the area was calm because "the Turkish community - which is very close - is guarding its properties".
