Ten to 16 per cent of Pakistanis suffer from moderate Lahore, according to the World Health Organisation. One per cent suffer from severe mental illness. <br /><br />But, there is a glaring insufficient number of psychiatrists and psychologists in the country with the ratio of severely-ill patients to doctors at 2,000 to 1. <br /><br />Additionally, the social stigma attached with mental illness often keeps many people from seeking treatment at all.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Imtiaz Tyab reports from Lahore.
