The Thai government has announced that Bangkok cannot be protected from the country's worst floods in decades.<br /><br />Nearly nine million have been affected as floods hit one-third of Thailand's provinces.<br /><br />Millions of others are bracing themselves for more damage.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Caroline Malone reports.
