Ohio voters reject anti-union law

Voters in the midwestern US state of Ohio have voted to reject anti-union legislation backed by the Republican governor and legislature.<br /><br />The original measure had been aimed at trimming costs by limiting the collective bargaining rights of trade unions.<br /><br />The Republican legislature said the law was vital to save money.<br /><br />However, the workers wanted the measure repealed on the grounds that it discriminated against their members.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's John Terrett reports from Washington.
