British football star David Beckham's run on the pitches of the US is expected to end on Sunday, with his last scheduled game with the Los Angeles Galaxy team.<br /><br />Beckham arrived five years ago in the country, after signing a $250m contract, in a bid to help raise the profile of football there.<br /><br />But while some support may have been gained, the game is still not a popular professional sport.<br /><br />Beckham will now have to choose his next move - either re-sign for the LA Galaxy, join another team or retire.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's John Terrett reports from Washington.
