Millions of Afghans live in acute poverty despite foreign aid coming into the country.<br /><br />Education has been one of the priorities for the international community, but as with many aid programmes, there is a disconnect between what the donors offer and what Afghans need.<br /><br />With half of the schools lacking actual buildings, many of the country's children have to study outside.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Jennifer Glasse reports from Kabul, where an Afghan version of the American Sesame Street show is set up to help children learn.
